I was born in Madrid, about as far from the sea as you can get, and I fell in love with sailing during my final year at university in New Zealand. I remember thinking that, if I ever had the chance to live by the sea, I would learn to sail and go and explore the world on my own boat.
Years later, when I moved to Nice, I kept that promise to myself. I learned to sail, bought my own boat and lived aboard for two years, sailing more than 6,000 nautical miles from the South of France through Spain, Morocco, Senegal and Gambia to Cape Verde, before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Exploring and discovering new places on my own boat is still what I love most.
Today the sea is still a huge part of my life. Whether I am sailing, freediving, kitesurfing, wingfoiling or surfing, I simply love being on the water. I am an engineer by background and a yacht broker by profession, but above all I am genuinely passionate about boats and the life that comes with them.
My job is not just about selling yachts, it's about enabling an incredible experience that will last a lifetime.
