RIVA 44 RIVARAMA

RIVA 44 RIVARAMA is a 2011 Riva Rivarama, comprehensively refitted in 2026 and lying in Monaco. She is one of Riva's most recognisable open yachts, combining a fully mahogany clad deck with a large aft sunpad, a spacious cockpit and a private forward master cabin, and she offers the feel of a high performance day boat with genuine overnight comfort.

Her twin 588 hp MAN engines push her to 35 knots and hold a steady 30 knot cruise. At 13.40 metres long with a beam of 3.88 metres she feels substantial yet responsive, the kind of yacht that invites confident handling. The Majestic Blu hull adds depth and character, unmistakably Riva even from a distance.

The deck layout is simple and purposeful: seating for ten, a sunpad aft, and helm controls positioned for full visibility underway. Below deck the Rivarama offers a comfortable double cabin, a separate bathroom and a small crew space, practical touches for overnight trips. She carries 1,330 litres of fuel and 200 litres of fresh water, sufficient for a whole day of fast cruising along the coast without compromise.

The 2026 refit was thorough rather than cosmetic, and the woodwork took the largest share of it. The solid mahogany fenders were restored and revarnished, the complete Beauty Line was restored, the hull and chrome were polished, and the chrome lettering and logo were restored with paint touch ups. The windscreen gasket was rebuilt, the cockpit silver panel replaced and the oxidised interior handles polished. Engines, generator and gearboxes went through their annual service and the hull was antifouled. Equipment was renewed at the same time, with a new Simrad RS90 VHF, an ICOM IC-M25 handheld marine VHF, a 22 inch Smart TV, a new ice maker and new 6 person liferaft equipment. The soft goods were not left behind either: new Riva branded fender covers, new Riva Aquamarine exterior cushions and a new set of Riva bed linen and towels.
