Smart Yachts

One of our most recent projects
the Panorama 50.

The first hull of the semi custom Admiral Panorama 50, sold by Smart Yachts.

The hard part of the brief was a genuine four deck yacht below 500 gross tonnes. Rather than take an existing layout and adjust it, Piredda & Partners developed the internal arrangement, the circulation and the relationship between the decks specifically for this project, which is how she ends up with clearly separated living areas, guest terraces, guest cabins kept on the main deck and an owner’s deck of its own. The metallic grey was the owner’s own suggestion.

And another of ours to touch the water,
the Kando 85.

Hull number one of the AvA Yachts Kando 85, an explorer sold by Smart Yachts.

Steel below the waterline and aluminium above it is not the combination anyone talks about at a boat show, but it is the right one for a boat meant to reach places that are not on the charter circuit. The underwater plating runs 8 to 10mm with watertight bulkheads through the hull, and the twin Volvo Penta installation gives her 5,000 nautical miles at a nine knot cruise. That last figure is the one that matters: it is the difference between planning a passage around where you want to go and planning it around the nearest fuel dock.

New-build
opportunities

Not every build starts with an empty slot. These are hulls already under contract at a yard, or in build and not yet delivered, whose berth has come back to the market. Buying one means an earlier delivery than a fresh order and a specification that is often still open in the parts that matter. Our own listings sit first, then the rest of what we can reach.

Brokers at Smart Yachts

A new build is decided long before a hull is cut, in the choice of yard, in the naval architecture and in the contract sitting behind both. Bring the brief over however rough it is, and you get an honest read on the route, the yard worth approaching and the delivery window that is realistic for it.
