Smart Yachts

Built by hand.
Known by name.

Thirty-four shipyards we have actually walked, from the largest custom houses in the world to the small yards that deliver a handful of hulls a year. We know who runs them and what each one builds best, and one number reaches all of them.

01

We know the real prices

List price and contract price are rarely the same number. We know what these yards have actually accepted, which options are quietly marked up, and what the extras added after signature tend to cost, so an offer can be read against something real rather than against a brochure.

02

We know the delivery availabilities

Some hulls are already standing in the shed because the yard chose to build on speculation, and one of those can put you on board a season or two early. Starting from scratch runs on a different clock. We track both, so you know who has a slot open and who is quoting years ahead.

03

We know the specifications

Registration comes first, because private or commercial puts a yacht under different rules from the keel up. After that it is detail: which types of propulsion a yard offers, whether a dynamic positioning system is standard or an option, and what a survey on their hulls usually turns up.
