South America

South America runs from equatorial islands to Antarctic ice, and a charter here can take in both. The Galapagos hold wildlife found nowhere else, Brazil's Atlantic coast strings together Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Recife and Belém, Patagonia splits Argentine prairie from Chilean fjords, and Colombia layers Spanish colonial culture over Andean and coastal landscapes. Long golden beaches, coral reefs and a well developed South Pacific shoreline make the sailing far more straightforward than the continent's remoteness suggests.
