Sami did not arrive through a family firm. He arrived through Port Hercule, on a first walk down the quay where the scale of what was tied up there stopped being an abstraction, and he was working a charter desk in Cannes not long afterwards.
That first job at a small brokerage is where the instinct comes from: he rebuilt how the office handled its bookings, put its marketing online, and the volume followed. Away from the desk he founded The Yacht Info, an Instagram audience of more than eighty thousand people who follow this industry for a living or for love. At Smart Yachts he sells and charters under the senior brokers and runs the creative and AI side of the company.
Charter asks a different question from sales. The client is buying a fortnight rather than an asset, and the temperament of the crew, the tender that does or does not fit the bay and the timing of a passage are what decide whether that fortnight is any good. He learned all of it on the operations side first, which is why the itinerary comes up before the boat does.
Nobody remembers a horsepower figure. They remember the week, so the brochure had better feel like the week.

Tell him where you want to be and roughly when, or which boat has caught your eye, and the answer comes back from him personally.
