Sami never expected to end up in yachting. He fell in love with it by chance, one day in Monaco, and his very first time out on the water was aboard a Brabus. Not long after, he was working a charter desk in Cannes.
That first job at a small brokerage is where the instinct comes from: he rebuilt how the office handled its bookings, put its marketing online, and the volume followed. Away from the desk he founded The Yacht Info, an Instagram audience of more than eighty thousand people who follow this industry for a living or for love. At Smart Yachts he sells and charters under the senior brokers and runs the creative and AI side of the company.

The pull has never faded. At a boat show he is usually the one still walking the pontoons after the meetings end, asking a captain about the last refit or looking up what a yacht was called before her current name.
