Julia stepped into the yachting world in 2006, starting out on the reception desk of a Moscow boat show. She sold her very first boat before the show had even closed, and from that moment she was certain where she belonged.

In 2012 she founded Smart Yachts, building it from a single desk into a Monaco brokerage that today handles sales, charter, new construction and management. Along the way the firm was recognised among the leading brokerage houses by Boat International and became the exclusive Monaco representative for Galeon. Julia still believes the same thing she did on day one: the people always come first, and the yacht a very close second.
