Alia was designed by acclaimed Aldo Cichero, who is renowned for his works designing yachts for some of the most discerning owners. Alia exemplified sophistication and cutting-edge design, featuring fin stabilizers underway.

Originally built in 1991 by BENETTI and subsequently refitted in 2001 at Mondomarine with new engines, including transom extension and addition of bulbous bow. Alia has since 2013 recorded yearly class surveys under ABS, she is well looked after by her current owner.

The 2001 refit included lengthening and addition of a bulbous-bow, plus installation of new Caterpillar M3412E engines, all increasing fuel efficiency.

Alia offers an al fresco dining area on the main deck aft, a lounge on the upper deck, and several sunbathing areas on the sundeck.

Inside guests are greeted by a restful main deck lounge, with large picture windows lining the space, and a formal dining area. The upper deck interior features a small dining area, and a lounge with a TV.

The owner's suite, forward on the main deck, has wide windows, a luxuriously appointed bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. On the lower deck there are 4 guest cabins: 2 doubles and 2 twins.

A one-off build rather than a series hull, she was launched by Benetti in 1991 with a steel hull and steel superstructure, then substantially rebuilt at Mondomarine in 2001 with a transom extension, a bulbous bow and new Caterpillar main engines. She is laid out over three decks.
