Open Day in Nice: Step Aboard 50m ALI BABA on October 7

Smart Yachts will welcome clients and brokers aboard the 50-metre ALI BABA for private viewings in the Port of Nice on October 7.

The yacht will be available for visits in the Port of Nice on October 7, making it a convenient opportunity for brokers and clients to see one of the latest additions to the Smart Yachts central agency sales fleet.

Built by ISA Yachts and delivered in 2012, ALI BABA was originally launched as PAPI DU PAPI, the second yacht in the ISA 500 series. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she has a volume of 498 GT. Her exterior is by Andrea Vallicelli, with interiors by Francesco Paszkowski.

ALI BABA accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, including two full-beam master suites. The second master is located on the upper deck and features a private hammam finished in stone - one of the more unusual elements of her accommodation layout.

Her deck arrangement carries one of the recognisable signatures of the ISA 500 series: twin staircases running aft between the decks and down towards the swim platform. Curved glass doors open onto the platform, creating a direct connection with the water, while the aft deck and expansive sundeck provide further spaces for dining and relaxing outdoors.

ALI BABA has undergone several refits, including a multi-million-euro rebuild of the interior. More recently, an extensive 2025/2026 shipyard period included a full exterior repaint, antifouling and propeller treatment, together with maintenance of the engines, gearboxes, stabilisers and hydraulic systems.
Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, ALI BABA reaches 17 knots, cruises at around 12.5 knots and offers a range of approximately 4,500 nautical miles. Naiad zero-speed stabilisers provide additional comfort both underway and at anchor.

Currently offered for sale with Smart Yachts as Central Agent, ALI BABA will be available for scheduled viewings in Nice throughout October 7.
