Sanlorenzo SL86

Sanlorenzo SL86 is a 26.76-metre planing motor yacht delivered in 2018, built in GRP with a GRP superstructure and registered under the Maltese flag. She carries eight guests in four en suite cabins, with three crew berthed separately in two further cabins, and she lies at Antibes. She is fitted with fin stabilisers and has recently come through an extensive programme of works, and she presents as new.

Outside, she offers several distinct guest areas rather than one large one. The aft cockpit holds a generous dining table sheltered by the upper deck overhang. Forward, the bow is laid out with built-in seating, sunpads and a central table, which creates a second open-air space entirely separate from the aft deck. The flybridge is the largest exterior area on board, protected by a hardtop with opening sections and carrying a large dining table, extensive seating and a substantial sunbathing area.

The main saloon is arranged as a single lounge wrapped in glazing on both sides and aft, so the seating area keeps open views in every direction. A substantial sofa arrangement is centred on a marble-topped coffee table with the dining area positioned forward, and the interior works a restrained palette of light upholstery, wood cabinetry, dark panels and polished surfaces. An internal staircase connects the main deck with the upper deck.

The owner's accommodation is a master cabin with large hull-side windows and built-in storage, opening onto a bathroom finished with large mirrors, a long vanity and a separate glass shower enclosure. Three further cabins with their own bathrooms take the remaining six guests.

Twin 2,000 hp MTU M96L T3 diesels drive her through shaft drives with V-drive transmission, giving a maximum of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots at a consumption of 600 litres an hour at 2,200 rpm. Two Kohler generators of 25 kW and 20.5 kW support a specification that runs to an Idromar watermaker producing 300 litres an hour, reversible air conditioning, a thermal imaging camera, CCTV covering the garage, helm, saloon, stern, sides and flybridge, a tender garage, a hydraulic gangway and six televisions.

The recent works were structural rather than cosmetic. The engines, generators, stabiliser fins, watermaker, electronics, CCTV, sea water intakes and shaft seals were all serviced or overhauled, the EPIRB system was overhauled, and the hull was repainted and fully polished. A new tender lift system and a new Starlink satellite installation went in at the same time, alongside an audio system overhaul. The soft furnishings were not left behind: every exterior cushion dates from 2025, as do the bow, flybridge and aft privacy awnings, the bed mattresses, and a complete linen and towel set including customised sheets and towels. On the flybridge, four sofas were installed across the full width aft, and the dining table there raises and lowers to convert into a sunpad when required.
