BGX 73

BGX 73, built in 2023, is a 22.67-meter motor yacht designed by Luca Santella together with Zuccon International Project. She is conceived for experienced owners who value unconventional layouts and practical use of space. The BGX 73 features a seaworthy deep-vee hull by naval architect Louis T. Codega and a distinctive architecture that prioritizes connection with the water while maintaining comfort in different weather conditions.

A key element of the BGX 73 is the expansive beach area combined with a deck that can be fully closed, allowing year-round use, with a pantograph door on the starboard side opening the main deck out to the sea. The interior layout is arranged around the centrally positioned owner's suite, which is a defining feature of this model. The suite has direct access to the main living area opening toward the beach zone, as well as to a more private space that can be configured as an additional guest cabin when needed. This arrangement supports owner privacy without isolating the suite from the rest of the yacht.

Accommodation includes three cabins in total. The third cabin is fitted with sliding beds and has a direct door connecting to the owner's cabin, offering flexible use for family or guests. Extensive glazing throughout the living areas brings in natural light and maintains visual continuity between interior spaces and the sea.

The BGX 73 is equipped with a Seakeeper 16 gyroscope for enhanced stability and carries a Williams Sport Jet 395 tender, launched from a hydraulic lifter system built into the aft platform, supporting both comfort underway and active use at anchor. She is specified above the standard boat throughout: twin Volvo Penta IPS1350 in place of the standard IPS1200, tropical air conditioning at 96,000 BTU rather than 72,000, a 180 l/h watermaker, three 16 inch Volvo glass cockpit displays, and carbon-poled biminis over the bow and stern sunlounges and the beach area. She had run 550 hours at the time of the brochure.
