Rossinavi launches its most innovative catamaran Seawolf X
On one-day trips, Seawolf X can cruise in full-electric mode for 100% of the time
Rossinavi has launched their latest hybrid-electric catamaran, 43m M/Y Seawolf X, featuring an exterior by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design and interiors by Meyer Davis Studio. This catamaran, carrying Rossinavi's BluE label, represents the shipyard's new sustainable philosophy by combining attractive design with environmentally friendly solutions.
Seawolf X's technical features include three performance scenarios: full electric mode for one-day trips, 90% electric mode for multi-day trips, and 80% electric mode for transatlantic trips. When moored, the Hibernation mode minimizes consumption and can supply enough energy to charge an entire villa. The yacht also has two diesel generators for quick battery recharge and can fast charge at shore power within five hours.
Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossinavi, expresses pride in the technological innovations of Seawolf X, the first hybrid-electric multihull vessel from Rossinavi. The yacht includes an onboard artificial intelligence system, Rossinavi AI, which enhances comfort and maximizes green potential by learning from guest behavior and optimizing power management.
The design team from Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design aimed to liberate from preconceptions, resulting in a sleek, low-profile silhouette akin to a sports car. The yacht features three distinct outdoor living areas: a cockpit with a pool, an expansive sundeck, and a bow area with a hidden pool and convertible home theater. Solar panels are integrated for energy recovery, and lightweight hull solutions were developed, including an innovative anchor installation.
Rossinavi's commitment to sustainability is evident in the BluE vision, realized through hybrid-electric yachts. Inspired by phytoplankton, these vessels utilize photovoltaic technology to harness and store solar energy, reducing CO2 emissions and setting a new standard in luxury travel. This approach demonstrates Rossinavi's dedication to innovation with a conscience, aiming to create a comfortable and inviting environment aboard the futuristic Seawolf X while maintaining minimal environmental impact.
