Wider revealed the first photos of the 28m WiderCat 92

Wider has revealed the first photos of the 28.04-meter hybrid-propulsion WiderCat 92 catamaran. Built by the Italian brand, the WiderCat 92 aims to blend indoor and outdoor areas, balancing aesthetics and functionality.

Constructed in Ancona, Italy, the WiderCat 92 features design elements by Wider Engineering and interiors by Luca Dini Design & Centro Stile Wider. Its exterior showcases asymmetrical shapes influencing the catamaran's overall design.

The main deck offers over 100 square meters of space, with half dedicated to the master stateroom. Below deck, the standard layout includes two mirrored VIP cabins and an additional twin guest cabin, accommodating up to 8 guests. Each cabin features a distinct color theme.

Interior design elements such as green flooring and asymmetrical shapes are consistently echoed throughout, from the saloon floor to ceiling details. The yacht includes 170 square meters of solar panels across various decks, contributing to a 360kWh battery bank that supports silent operation and efficient cruising.

The upper saloon, located behind the bridge, offers a cozy space for relaxation or watching television. Design elements from the lower deck are repeated here, ensuring thematic consistency.

The owner's cabin boasts large windows that provide ample natural light and generous headroom, creating an open atmosphere. The bathroom features a spacious shower, marble sinks, a toilet, and a bidet. Storage wraps around one side of the cabin, and the bed is centrally positioned with leather accents and side tables.

A private terrace accessible from the owner's cabin offers a natural breeze and a sense of privacy. Additionally, a small pantry in the owner's cabin provides convenience with storage, a coffee machine, and a drinks cooler.

The VIP cabins mirror the luxury of the owner's suite, with large beds, detailed decor, and private bathrooms. These cabins also have direct access to outdoor terraces and the beach club, enhancing the guest experience.

The third guest cabin, designed for the owner's daughters, includes playful pink accents and twin beds.

Crew quarters are divided across both hulls, accommodating 4 crew members. The port side hull includes the captain’s cabin with a private bathroom, a bureau, and ample storage.

The WiderCat 92 employs a hybrid propulsion system with electric motors, twin 360kW generators, and a 360kWh battery bank. This setup allows various power sources to be used based on cruising needs. Pure electric mode offers a range of about 25 nautical miles at 6 knots, while the generators extend the range to 1 300 nautical miles at 10 knots. Solar panels support the boat's systems and batteries when stationary.

The tender garage accommodates either a 5.5-meter tender or a 4.5-meter tender with a jet ski. The garage door doubles as a bathing platform, providing easy access.

The 67 square meter beach club area features drop-down balconies at water level, facilitating direct access from the VIP cabins. The foredeck includes storage, space for jet skis, and a sun pad, ideal for sunbathing.

Additional solar panels are installed on the side decks and bridge deck roof to maximize solar energy use. The bridge deck also includes a spacious bar, lounges, and a grill, creating an excellent outdoor entertaining area.

The brand new WiderCat 92 is available for sale with Smart Yachts. The delivery is scheduled for November 2024.
