2022 World Superyacht Awards: Motor Yacht of the Year - Viva
94m • 2021 • Feadship
The judges of the World Superyacht Awards 2022 were faced with the task of choosing one yacht from a field of nine semi-displacement and displacement motor yachts. After much debate, a secret ballot by a wide margin decided Viva as the winner. The judges attributed the decision to Viva's superiority based on the detailed consideration given to every aspect of the vessel during her 12-year gestation period and the owner's involvement in the design process.
94m Viva was built in 2021 at the Feadship yard. A major goal during the construction of the yacht was to achieve eco-friendliness. A way to achieve this ambitious goal was through a state-of-the-art hybrid propulsion system. It allows Viva to cruise at 12 knots, powered by diesel-electric propulsion.
Huge glass constructions are a feature of the remarkable exterior design by Feadship Studio De Voogt and Azure. The beach house style interior is by Peter Marino Architects.
The yacht has everything on board for a comfortable long cruise: luxurious deck space, a spacious beach club, modern interiors and a comfortable layout that fully meets the needs of the owner, guests and crew.
