The Italian Sea Group Unveils 31-Meter Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101

When Automobili Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group first unveiled the 63-foot Tecnomar for Lamborghini in 2020, it was clear that the worlds of supercars and superyachts were beginning to merge in a new way. Five years on, the idea has grown into something much larger. At the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, the two Italian brands pulled the cover off the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101, a 31-metre aluminium yacht that takes the performance logic of Sant’Agata Bolognese and carries it straight onto the water. The model is available for order through Smart Yachts, the official representative of The Italian Sea Group.

The 101 runs on three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines delivering a total of 7,600 horsepower. Power reaches the water through Top System steerable surface drives and Rolla propellers—equipment chosen for precision rather than spectacle. The result is speed unusual for a yacht of this displacement: 45 knots flat-out, 35 knots at cruise. A unified digital control system links steering, trim, and propulsion so the response is immediate and exact. Two 35 kW generators keep the yacht’s electrical systems steady when the engines are silent.

The naval work behind it shows discipline. A hard-chine hull, spray rails, and a shallow draft combine for stability and efficiency; she turns tightly, planes quickly, and stays dry even at pace. At planing speed, the 101 feels closer to a large tender than a superyacht—fast, direct, and surprisingly economical.

From the quay she could never be mistaken for anything but a Lamborghini. Angular intakes, taut planes, and a forward-leaning profile give the impression of motion even at rest. Surfaces are sculpted to manage airflow, not decorate it. Owners can choose from White, Blue Cepheus, or Red, or match the finish to their road car. Forged-carbon and other lightweight composites link the build to the brand’s automotive DNA.

The influence continues and is unabashed. Three bucket-type helm seats with the famous raging bull emblem stitched into each ‘fly’ underneath a steeply raked windscreen stolen from the Huracán cockpit. The main saloon follows the same geometric language: built-in furniture, indirect lighting, no excessive ornamentation.

Four guest cabins below sleep eight and all the layouts are changeable according to an owners’ whims. Some owners want minimum monochrome; some go for exposed carbon and contrasting colours. No two hulls that leave the yard are identical.

Tecnomar refers to the 101 as a meeting place between power and calm. The outside is engineered for open water performance; the inside is drawn for calm. The paradox is a familiar one for Lamborghini — machines made for the edge but refined enough for living with. This duality is played out across thirty-one metres of aluminium and noise.

Under the sun at Port Hercule, the new model hardly looked like a yacht borrowing from automotive lines, but as a natural stage in the evolution of the brand. A Lamborghini that happens to float.

Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101 can be ordered exclusively through Smart Yachts, the official representative of The Italian Sea Group. Smart Yachts provides direct access to the shipyard and full project oversight from concept to delivery.
