72m Giorgio Armani–Designed Admiral Superyacht Sold Off-Market
The first 72-metre Admiral superyacht designed by Giorgio Armani has been sold in a discreet off-market deal. Newly delivered and now named No Rush, the yacht represents one of the last projects personally overseen by Giorgio Armani and a rare example of a fashion house shaping a superyacht at this scale from the outset.
Launched in May and unveiled publicly for the first time at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, No Rush is a full-custom, full-displacement build in steel and aluminium. She is the first of two yachts designed by Giorgio Armani in collaboration with Centro Stile of The Italian Sea Group (TISG), positioning the project as both a technical achievement and a design statement rooted firmly in Italian industrial culture.

Her exterior avoids excess. A satin-gold profile defines the hull and superstructure, structured around precise geometric volumes softened by curved surfaces. Extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing opens the yacht visually, while the upper deck appears almost suspended, creating a terrace effect that lightens the yacht’s silhouette despite her displacement construction.

Interiors were developed by Armani/Casa with direct involvement from Giorgio Armani himself. The design language is consistent throughout: disciplined proportions, controlled contrasts, and materials selected for tactility rather than visual drama. Champagne, ivory, and greige tones dominate, allowing stone, wood, and metal finishes to define each space without competing for attention.

Accommodation is arranged for up to 14 guests across seven cabins. The owner’s suite occupies a dedicated private deck, fully separated from guest areas. The full-beam cabin includes a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom with freestanding bathtub and walk-in shower. Aft, the owner’s private lounge and bar can convert into a cinema via a concealed seven-seat sofa system, while sliding glass doors lead to an outdoor dining area for 14, a bar, sun loungers, and a glass-bottomed infinity pool. Forward, a separate outdoor lounge is arranged around a sunpad and firepit.

Guest accommodation is located primarily on the main deck. A forward VIP suite includes its own lounge, a Velvet Onyx-finished bathroom, and the ability to split into two separate cabins if required. Four additional guest cabins feature sliding beds that allow each to function as either a twin or double. En-suite bathrooms are finished in Azul Macaubas, Silk Georgette, or Taj Mahal quartzite, with Armani/Roca fittings selected to match the yacht’s champagne colour theme.

The main saloon serves as the social centre on board and a clear expression of Armani’s design discipline. An ivory onyx floor anchors the space, centred by a custom Armani Casa carpet. Canaletto walnut sofas are paired with coffee tables finished in platinum leaf, while a dining area forward seats 14 on Armani Casa “Lea” chairs. Decorative glass curtains—laminated glass with a metal-mesh core framed in champagne aluminium—were produced by three Italian specialists. A television remains hidden until lowered from the ceiling.

Additional guest areas follow the same approach, prioritising natural light and visual calm. On the lower deck, a dedicated wellness centre includes a gym, sauna, treatment rooms finished in gold-leaf and liquid metal, and an ivory onyx steam shower. Meeting rooms are integrated discreetly into the layout, reflecting the yacht’s dual role as a private retreat and a platform for business use.

The designers of this yacht have intentionally configured its outdoor area with maximum flexibility. In addition to a wide range of uses, the sundeck includes a bar and Jacuzzi, as well as a hidden television, sunpads for lounging, and a lounge area around a large firepit at the bow of the yacht. There is also an open-air area that can double as both a cinema and a party venue, and includes karaoke capabilities and control over the lighting. The bridge deck and main deck have ample seating areas and areas to host guests; and the helicopter pad allows for quick and direct access to the yacht from the ground level.

No Rush has recently been built and is therefore one of the most recent examples that demonstrate the trend among the top tier of the market, where highly customised yachts have been developed privately, rather than built for the public market, and where discretion, creativity, and overall cohesiveness of design are more important to owners than establishing a public image.
