The Aquador shipyard was founded by the entrepreneur Sakari Mattila in 1995. The owner built the first model in collaboration with Rolf Eliasson, the famous Swedish naval architect. In 2000, he sold his shipyard to Bella Veneet OY that as a result had a positive impact on the company. In 2007 Aquador was recognized as the fastest growing shipyard in Scandinavia.
