Must-see yachts at the FLIBS 2021 Superyacht Village
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, one of the largest in the world, started today, October 27, 2021. The five-day show features more than 1,500 yachts and boats in seven areas covering around 280,000 square metres. Here is an overview of some noteworthy superyachts.
• Benetti 40M Oasis (40m)
Benetti, 2021
The Benetti 40M Oasis quickly gained popularity. The exterior of the yacht was designed by RWD and Benetti was responsible for the naval architecture. A feature of the Oasis model is the huge beach club with swimming pool, lounge area and folding platforms on port and starboard sides.
• W (57.6m)
Feadship, 2013
The 57.6m superyacht Feadship W was delivered in 2013 and underwent a major refit in 2020 adding a couple of new cabins. The interior, designed by Bannenberg & Rowell, remains virtually unchanged.
• Qing (46m)
Cheoy Lee, 2011
The 46m superyacht Qing, designed by Ron Holland Design, was delivered to her owner in 2011. Her bright red hull was refreshed during a refit in 2019 and she has been regularly maintained ever since. Qing has a cruising range of 6,600 nautical miles at 10 knots, making her a true transoceanic cruising vessel. She is listed for sale for $13,500,000.
• Pink Shadow (45.6m)
Damen Yachting, 2019
The 45.6m Pink Shadow is recognisable for her unusual paint job with an octopus on the bow-side. Pink Shadow can accommodate up to six guests in three en-suite staterooms and the yacht is operated by a crew of seven. The 120sqm aft deck has storage for tenders and toys, as well as a crane and helipad. Pink Shadow is currently listed for sale for €14,900,000 with VAT paid.
• Zoom Zoom Zoom (49.07m)
Trinity Yachts, 2005
Zoom Zoom Zoom was built entirely in aluminium at the Trinity Yachts yard. The 465 GT displacement tri-deck superyacht offers accommodation for nine guests in five cabins. Evan K. Marshall designed the interior of Zoom Zoom Zoom to be a sophisticated and sleek yacht. Zoom Zoom Zoom has multiple dining and outdoor areas as well as a Jacuzzi, bar and a full range of water toys.
